Lol, it was quite entertaining. This one guy and his girlfriend got into a fight in the parking lot and she broke a beer bottle over his head. Guy was bleeding like crazy. You can always count on that place for a little drama.

Had a pt the other day that tried killing himself by shooting himself in the temple with a .22; well the bullet ricocheted off his occipital bone(eye socket) and grazing his girlfriends neck. He survived with no losses other than his right eye. However he lost over a liter of blood.

He had tied her up to a chair to force her to watch. The fucked up part about it was that his girlfriend was spooning with him in bed the entire time. Needless to say a called for a psych consult, lol

I would love to work in our hospitals ER (level 1 trauma center). But I need at least a years ICU experience before applying to my graduate program in anesthesia.
