i know there's some bull riding fans out there somewhere......

congrats to adriano moraes for winning a record 3rd title in the pbr finals this year (and $1mil)!!! he definitely deserved it......(i think he juices too) :p

http://www.pbrnow.com/media/press/release.cfm?ID=3091

anyone see Chris Shivers ride Smokeless Wardance for 94 points!!!! Amazing! that bull is top of the pack.....

never even on tv? where you been brotha?

yeah, some buddies of mine rode with lane frost and was with him that tragic night. RIP

i saw ty murry and jewel in a bar in stephenville a while back. wierd seeing them together.....lol

bull riding is a man's sport.

I remember seeing Shivers when he just started out. Tough little guy right there.

I have seen Adriano a couple times as well but haven't been watching much lately. He is definately a badass an deserves the record.

yeah, that dude's barely 5 feet tall......freakin fearless....

i wonder how many riders do juice though.....some of them sure look like it.....like marchi and shit pretty much all 3 of the moraes brothers

Shivers is like 5'4 and 145lbs.

Not sure on the juice, but I doubt it. If you don't grow from rodeo then you must be PICK3.

Check out the size of some of the bulldoggers.

LMAO! :chomp:

yeah, now those wranglers got to be thick to do that shiz.......

i thought id try it once........till i got there.
and the BULLS just looked at me and said-
"Yeah motherfucker you just saddle up, fucking cowboy"....

i decided that bikes were a better option for me.

btw: in case you were wondering, BULLS are about the size of a Ford SuperDuty 550 Quad Cab Diesel Duelly.....no fucking way.

Boulder hippie alert!

Now shut up and don't get your leather purse wet.

are you serious?

please, i consume more meat than your typical dinosaur could. i also own plenty of leather goods.

hog tying, digging spurs into animals that don't want to be ridden, etc is not exactly being nice.

would you do that sort of shit to your dog?

After some of his injuries I'm sure he has been! I had a cousin who was a bull rider and I used to go to local events and ride "exhibition" when they had extra bulls! I've done it in sandals and a cut-off tee shirt and shorts! Not recommended, BTW!

hells yeah!! thats the backwoods weekend party version of the rodeo right there boa

I have tried but my dogs can't support my weight.

Rodeo is just a competition of necessary cowboy skills. I missed the hog tying competition at the last rodeo.
Nothing cruel about it. I understand your indoctrination considering where you go to school, but your concession about meat eating like a dinosaur and leather goods makes your argument just under that a vegetarian wearing leather.

p0ink said:
ok, so how often do you hog tie your dog for shits and giggles?

are you a girl or something? sounds like something a little girl would say. the comparison between dogs and bulls is weak at best.

but i would rip that mother fucker up for a million dollars.

thats my dog in my avi.

i ride him in my backyard on days i don't train.

Shit...a real bull is nothing compared to 2 drunk bro's on either end of a barrel rig mounted about 8' off the ground.

 :FRlol:

i wouldn't say all that............but damn.......8 fkn feet? that's straight up rite-der.

i'd put a drunk bro on all four corners...... :p

medical said:
The drunk bro's do! Plus they tend to spray you with lighter fluid and chase you with a tiki-torch. Don't ask me how I know this.

my god, we've been to the same bbq's???? lol

and then they throw supersized firewood blocks on your head

And laugh like hell when you get mad! "Aw hell, man....we're just havin' a little fun!"

Hey Pit Bull Rocco is this the video of the guy that died in bull fighting.
http://crazyshit.com/cnt/medias/10098

isn't he the only guy to die in bull riding?

I have always said i would like to try and ride a bull at least once just to see what its really like.

Bullfighting is different.

I was expecting a video of Lane Frost getting killed at Cheyenne Frontier Days. I was there when he got killed.

Anyone know where he was from?

I can't believe Moraes won, especially with his injuries. Talk about manning up. Lee was close though.

sorry sassy, I was just curoious if that was the guy who died does anyone know if that was lane frost? How did he die and when was this, cause i saw a special on bull riding and i think they said that there has only been one death in bull riding ever or something like that not sure exactly. but those guys are complete hardcore mans man. I give them crazy props it takes a real man to go out there and tear it up especially like the one guy who doesn't where a helmet just his cowboy hat.

I couldnt' find my spurs anyway.

i couldn't imagine seeing that. he actually rode the fucking bull too.....the movie 8 Seconds was about him

no, there are actually several bull riders who have died. brent thurman i can think of off the top of my head.....and i actually remember hearing of a 17 year old kid died last year when a bull crushed his chest. he was even wearing a kevlar vest.

there is a death every several years across the world from bull riding. its extremely dangerous.

cowboy up.

and no that wasn't lane frost. lane was speared in the ribs by a horn which severed a main artery

Thats a shame. I will try to ride a bull at least once in my life.

Timeline, Statistics and Accomplishments
1963: Born October 12, 1963 in LaJunta, Colorado, to Clyde and Elsie Frost. (Note from Lane's mother: Lane was not a Kim, Colorado native as reported in some articles. Mr. and Mrs. Frost were natives of Kim, Colorado, but when Lane was born, they were living in Lapoint, Utah. Clyde was rodeoing, and she went to say with her folks in Kim, Colorado. They went to LaJunta, Colorado to the hospital, so that is where Lane was actually born on October 12, 1963.) Lane began to show interest in rodeo by the time he was three and was practicing riding calves at the age of ten.
1977: The Frost family moves to Lane, Oklahoma. Frost continues learning riding techniques from his father, Clyde, and from bull riding legend, Freckles Brown, of near-by Hugo, Oklahoma

Holy shite!! That looks awesome!!! Drunkin' barrel riding, SWEET!
2 strong guys (much less 4!) who know what they are doing can unseat nearly anybody very quickly! You can vary the tension on the ropes so that the feedback is more or less immediate....each has it's advantages. Most country kids in TX have one in their backyard! I've seen large sums of money bet late at night when the testosterone and alcohol reached perfect synergy....trips to the ER are common!
