V-SHAPE 2 New member Mar 19, 2003 #1 Who does not use peanut butter on a ckd due to its carbs/ sugar? How about natural pb?
X XbdawggX New member Mar 20, 2003 #2 I use it sparingly... I think a serving of my nat PB has something like a 6/6/16 ratio or something close to that, so it's not too bad to throw into a protein shake or something.

Millie New member Mar 20, 2003 #3 natty peanutbutter is ok for keto diets. just be carefull that you don't go overboard with it. a lot of people have given up on it, because they have trouble resisting eating more than a tablespoon

Toozee New member Mar 25, 2003 #6 I stay away from it while on the CKD. I think it makes me want other stuff too much The diet seems to work so well for me on just the basic CKD foods that I cant see trying it. I do take in about 1oz. (28g or so) of walnuts for a snack maybe once a day. (cal 210/ pro 5/ carb 3/ fat 20)
