Paypal did the right thing for me!

about a month ago i purchased a refurbished window air conditioner from an ebay seller.

the darn thing screeched and rumbled the second the compressor engages.

several emials to the seller produced gorsnicht (nothing).

after going thru the paypal resolution process; paypal agreed to refund to my credit card the initial purchase price plus shipping back to and from the seller.

vindication!!

you could have sent the seller a box of toothpicks with a tracking number and you would have still gotten your money back

swole's right. paypal did this to a friend of mine. Guy got the perfectly good merchandise AND got his money back! What a deal for him! Meanwhile my friend is out about $300. Yay paypal!

Paypal and ebay always side with the buyer.

paypal did refund me the initial purchase price and shipping charges to me.

they did NOT refund me the shipping charges ($40.00!!) i spent sending the defective POS back to the ebay seller.

i am still out forty dollars.
