A buddy of mine asked me today if i had ever heard of the payment method of Cash Upon Delivery. I said i havent heard of that before it sounds pretty sketchy to me. Has anyone else heard of this? any experience? Is it safe,unsafe?

I think you mean C.O.D. (Cash on delivery) That means that they ship the item to a post office or someplace like that and you pay the attendant for your package. They in turn send them money to the sender. It's pretty safe because you don't pay anything until you have your package in your hands.

BUT, YOU have to go to the post office where they are holding your order. I think if you do that you are retarded. Plus you would have to sign your name, another no no. WU is great because you and the receiver don't have to use your real names. WU is the way to send money annoymously.

Ive heard of it. Had a training partner that did it and things went ok for him. I think he did it a couple of times but that was about 5 years ago. Me personally ?? I wouldnt do it.

We had a thread about this last week. Do not work with anyone saying COD. It could be LE setting you up. Lets say this, LE sets you up and you go to pick up the package. you had the attendant your ID and money. ID is a fake, now LE has you for fake and for gear. Do not use COD.

with western union you have the option of setting up a test question and answer. If you use that you don't have to show ID in most cases unless the payment is over 1k.

WU has the option of identifying the recipient of the transfer through a test question rather than ID. This option is used worldwide but u need to have this worked out with the source beforehand. I personally never needed it. If the source sits somewhene in some banana republic he can have a gazillion fake id's all worked out properly with his local officials so in my experience its not a problem.

WU doesn't need ID anywhere if the sender signs off on it. WU doesn't change from place to place, they're a private company.

Personally, I've done credit card, WU, Cah by mail, and Money Gram and never had a problem with anyone

I use WU for my orders. Never had an issue.
Don't do it online and use credit card. They make you call their number to confirm.

Dude, you need to chill. The guy has a legitmate question and is smart for having the balls to ask it. Bottom line is DO NOT DO COD. Don't sign for shit either.. Keep doing your homework and do not be afraid to ask questions. Cover your tracks and everything will be all good. Law Enforcement is all over these boards but if we stick together and look out for eachother we minimze risk factors.
