Paxil CR

I know there are some guys on this board that suffer from anxiety, cuz I've heard you talking about it before. My doc just prescribed me Paxil Controlled Release...it's supposed to have minimal side effects when compared with the old Paxil. I'm thinking of starting it. Anyone have any experience with it? Thanks in advance.

I'm on it.

I believe i'm on 25MGs.

I know I prolly shouldn't, but I take advantage of the controlled release properties and ration mine a little.. probably not wise. Instead of taking 1 every day, I take it about every 2 days.

Also... I sometimes partake in a particular recreational drug which Paxil can inhibit it from working. So, if I know I'm going to be going out one night and doing a little... I'll tend to not take it for a couple of days before.

Overall, it's helped me, I believe. It's hard to say, because a month after I started, I had some major marital problems (now divorced) and I'm just now getting my life back on track. It's going to be interesting to see how things go with it once everything else shapes out.

Sorry to hear that bunkka. Ya its way better than old paxil. NO SIDES. I was on 12.5mg/day b/c my doc said it has the same results as the old 20mg paxil. I don't take it during a cycle but boy do I save up for after. I become a cry-n-little bitch.
