Pats Beat Rams!!!

Patriots 27 Rams 24

Before you say this belongs on the other board, 99% of those players are on steroids. The other 1% are the kickers!

TRUE!! And I wasn't talking about the score.

I am a Steeler fan and I guess I have to pull for the PATS. I don't think they will win. You can't get that lucky two weeks in a row, but I think they will give the Rams a good game.

Too many people are talking about how easy the rams went throught the playoffs, but not too many talk about how philly smacked those fuckers in the teeth twice this year. Oh, by the way, so did the pats.

Go Pats!!!

Patriots blew the game between them 24-17..they led by 7 and had 3 turnovers inside ram 20....and rams scored 2 of their 3 tds after turnovers by pats in their own end...yeah the Ram`s wr`s are good but patton and brown are just as deadly with brady throwing to them....hope that fina/winny combo helps brady..lol....go Pats

Go Pats! I hate those Rams as well, those steroid enhanced freaks!! With the 14pt. spread though, I gotta $100 on those Patriots.

You guys need to go get your heads examined, because you are all out of your fucking minds. The Rams will win this game rather easy.

I agree Vegas.

Pat's hobbling rookie QB will be decimated and the overated special teams luck will run out against the Rams.
Warner will pass for more than 400 yds in this game.

This Superbowl will be a joke....

Rams 42 Pats 10

being a pats fan i agree but bledsoe should start hes got a much better arm

He may have a better arm but brady got them to the super bowl. I think it would be the worst mistake ever to put bledsoe in unless brady truely was hurt. And hurt bad. Bledsoe is not the quarterback that he once was.

Brady is this year's Trent Dilfer. He manages the game excellently and doesn't make mistakes. Brady is a rock and won't be shell shocked. I'm not going to say he'll win the game for the Pats though. Whether or not the Pats win is totally dependent upon their offensive and defensive lines. If the Pats win the battle in the trenches they win the game.

Warner may still pass for 400 yds but that doesn't mean the Rams will win. The Pats have the 3rd best redzone defense and since they played the Rams in week ten they've had the #1 red zone defense. The Rams will march up and down the field all night, but end up settling for alot of field goals, one of which will be blocked (the Rams kicker tends to kick the ball low when it's over a 25yrder).

I don't know but....

I'm leaning heavilly towrds taking the pats +14 thats a lot of points. The Pats have a stingy D and the rams turn the ball over, given they have the talent to blow out any team in the league when they put iut all together. I don't know about the Pats at Qb especially if the rams score the firts 7 BUT 14 poiints is 14 points, and the pats have a better coach and a better D. the rams ate a bette team ,b ut they make a lot of mistakes, they can get away with them since they are so talente at every position, BUT a couple pics or a fumble and the the Rams may win , but I can;t seee them winning by 14, but it's possible, the pats comming from behinne 10+ is no good, bu tthe rams shoot temselves in the foot so much that you have to theink the ymay win but I don;t think they'll blow thw pats out...At least I hope not 'cuz I'm almost sure I'm going to bet on New England, 14 points is 14 points, I think they played earlier in teh year and the rams won but it was close.....I'm thinking it'll be pretty much the same story, uynless the Rmas jump out way ahead early, then it may be a blow out....but hey you never know.:alien:

brady dont rarely turn it over..pats with 8 game winnign streak with brady 8 total turnovers.....pats with 6 games with beldsoe 26 turnovers..you tell me that bledsoe is better?....brown and patton wil tear up the rams

Ive been a Patriots fan since 94' very faithfully and can honestly say as an overall unit they did not look this good even in 96 when they went against Green Bay.

Im smelling an upset, sorry St. Louis fans..

Pats 24, Rams 17

Warner throws 3 picks and the Pats "D" make him pay.

Ty Law only had 3 picks this year, but two went for TD's, so its ALL GOOD!

OH and in advance....#55 will be sniffing Warner's rib protection at least 2x Sun.

Peace,
WCP

Mike PT, if you are a giants fan then you should be a Pats fan. The giants and the Pats practice together in the off and pre season. Billicheck basically won both Superbowls for the Giants playing the same exact defensive style (bend but don't break). Parcells and Billicheck drafted Willie McGinest to play the role of LT, in that respect he's been a bust, but he's still a probowler.

WCP, I never knew you were a Pats fan??!! You might be alright after all.

I've been a Pats fan since 82'. Man, I sat there and watched the entire 46-10 ass whipping in 86. I almost cried like a bitch. I don't think that I can handle a third loss.

I like the Pats. I just wish that Bledsoe was playing. I got to meet him a few years back and he is a good guy. I'm sure you Pat fans want Brady to play, but Bledsoe may get his chance.

Anyway I just don't think the Pats can stop the Rams offense. If they have a chance they will need to have 5 turnovers. But I think that the rams will win by 17.

I hope that the Pats have it in them to pull it out, and that they prove me wrong.

Well, although my prediction was correct, I messed up the score. The spread was still good though. I chose 27-24, Final Score 20-17. The Pats were just too physical.

A few points I need to hit.........

First, Charles Woodson. I used to like this guy until he turned into a whining bitch. Whether it was a fumble or not, he should have been called for a personal foul for an illegal blow to the head on that play which would have given the Pats 15yrd and a first down. He should be happy it was only an incompletion. Next, HIS team was still up and HIS defense didn't do their job. The Pats had to score TWICE after that play to win. His defense didn't get the job done.

Second, Kordell Stewart. This is the guy who choked in the AFC championship game surrendering FOUR turnovers himself, then has the balls to say that sometimes the best team doesn't win??? I gurantee you that if the Steelers had someone else, anyone else playing QB that they would have won.

Last, Marshall Faulk. After losing he said that the only team that can beat the Rams are the Rams. Well, sorry to say buddy but the Rams didn't make any mistakes. The Pats caused Warner to make bad passes by knocking the shit out of him and getting in his face. He was sacked 3 times, hit 12 times, hurried 15 times, shall I go on??? The Pats created turnovers, the Rams didn't give them away. Marshall, be like your coach and admit that you just lost to a better OVERALL team, which includes coaching. Sure the Rams have more better athletes, but the Pats came out and smacked them in the face. This wasn't an atheletic competion, it was a heavy weight fight!

Have any of you ever played football? I mean beyond high school...I mean beyond college......more than likely not......for those who say the Rams did'nt make any mistakes you are wrong...they made the biggest mistake of all......intensity....the Pats were fired up......in a huge way......I didn't see that fire in the Rams....if things had gone the other way during the regular season....Pats beating the Rams....then I am sure we would have had a different superbowl outcome......Heavyweight fight.....I don't think so....defensively the Pats...suck ass.....Warner just couldn't put it together....blame it on his thumb.....or otherwise...he just didn't show up......and the defense looked like they were asleep.....oh well there is always next year...anyone wanna place that bet....cause I am sure the Ram's will be there...and the Pat's might go .500.........let's here it for ricky Proehl....PEACE
:bawling:

Pitsbull, first off, some of have played football beyond college so take you foot out of you mouth. Next, you are right, the Rams didn't come out with that same fire, but that is absolutely no different than the way they came out for every game this year. That is there style. Next, the Pats D sucks? Are you an idiot? I don't mean to flame, but there are no other words for it. You are just upset that your team lost and are lashing out. The Pats physically beat up the Rams, plain and simple.

The pats won because they all had faith in each other and never gave up, all season. They were introduced as a TEAM and left as a TEAM, the championship TEAM. No individuals, no crybabies like Charles Woodson, Kordell Stewart, or Marshall Faulk. They just ignored all the Bs about having no chance, put on their hats, and went to work.

First of all, fuck all of you haters. If you cant recoginize what the Patriots overcame and went through this season then you are just plain ignorant. Fuck vegas and their 14 point spread. This was a perfect example of what happens when a team puts their mind to something and believes in eachother. Even Drew Bledsoe was a part of this one-he showed what a class act he truly is. I can not wait for the parade tomorrow. This is my spring break warm up-shitfaced by 10 am-yea baby.

well i'm a steelers fan so i wish they made it to the big dance!! But I will say that New England just plain and simple beat the Rams. The Rams don't compete well against physical play plus they were outcoached by the Pats coaching staff. I will say I don't think the Pats will come close to the bowl next year but the Steelers will (if Kordell doesn't choke!!) be a contender.
P.S. I believed the Pats would win the whole time thats why I have some extra money in my pockets!! Couldn't resist that 14 points!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen, The Steelers will be back and if it wasn't for Special Teams the score would have been 20-10 Pittsburgh. I don't think Cowher will let that happen again.

Pittsburgh has got to be kicking themselves after watching a team that wasn't nearly as physical as them beat the Ram's around the field.
