I played majors all my life then ended at 16. I'm not tootin my horn here but I could've went AT LEAST semi-pro.. Why'd I stop? Cuz I got my Driver's License and started partying. I thought hockey was a burden. I kick myself in the ass every day knowing I could been doin somethin I've always loved and MAYBE made money at the same time. That's what kills me, I'll never know.

Anyway, who did you play for at 13? I was on the Fruehauf Flyers. (DOB - 1979) We used to come out there all the time to scrimmage and win all your tournaments. We always wound up playing against the Toronto Red Wings. Remember Shane Nash, yeah, I smoked his ass a couple times.

third, you obviously have never been around a canadian hockey player. our coaches encourage rough play and fighting if it comes down to it. fighting is a fuckin pastime for me. i am not afraid to say anything to anybody, why? cause i really dont give a shit. i've taken punches from guys twice my height in fights, and its no big thing, as long as i'm throwing and connecting i'm happy. i actually enjoy fighting bigger guys in hockey cause 1) i prove nothing to myself by beating on people smaller than me or my size. it is more fun to take down a big man. 2) all you big guys are too slow, by the time your cocking your right, i've already slipped you with a left and thrown your fuckin jersey or jacket or sweater over your head. now their fucked, cause i'm fedding him uppercuts while hes trying to untangle himself from the jacket or whatever. speed my friend. talk all you want about your size, doesnt faze anyone who has been in as many fights as i have and taken as many lumps as i have.

Usually those making the 60-70 K go to one of three financial centers in the U.S. New York, L.A. , San Francisco or Chicago. $60-$70K in NY is not bad. You get a place in Jersey or Long Island, take the train to work everyday and with a car lease and an apartment you're spending like $1700/month and living pretty good.

However, bank teller jobs are a dime a dozen and you'd make about $40K after several years working, whether you moved up to CSR, head-teller or anything else. I don't know where these figures are coming from, most likely your ass.
