Parkinson's disease

Do any of you have any family members with this disease. My dad just fell and I had to pick him up. Death from falls is common in Parkinson's patients. I dread that one day he is going to get seriously hurt when falling. That is going to suck.

I am sorry to hear about this-my brother.

Parkinsons dieease is fucking hardcore. My father passed away from this last year. And it was a blessing for him to die. Because from the time he got it till the day he passed it away-it was complete hell for him.

Every year he kept getting worse till he was bed ridden. Then he had a heart attack.. We think he overdosed on his medication to kill himself.


I would suggest hanging with him as much as possible because it will only get worse.

How long did he have it? My dad was diagnosed a little over 5 years ago. He gets worse every year also. They just keep switching medicines to keep him walking as best he can. Which isn't very good sometimes.
