I was told it was actually due to overcrowding.
Add to the fact that she was by herself in a room that was made to hold two people and you just know they wanted her out of there!

The court system is becoming a joke. First OJ goes free. Then Micheal Jackson. Now Paris Hilton gets a few hours in jail, while the rest of the peasants and commoners of this country would have to sit the full 45 days, without a private cell. I suppose that record producer dude who killed that woman will probably get sentenced to 5 minutes of community service.

I should kill the judge who made this decision. I'll probably get community service if I was rich and famous.

Well I will reserve my comments about OJ and Michael Jackson. I'll just let the nonsense slide. Paris Hilton is on house arrest and is not free. She should have never been in jail in the first place since it is common knowledge that California has a jail overcrowding issue. It's one of California bigger budgeting issues. The fact is a normal person would have had an easier time beating a probation violation because cameras don't follow you everywhere you go... So you being arrested for DUI may not necessarily go noticed that you are already on probation if it happened

Sometimes celebs have it worse then normal folks
