On Paris Hilton:
I am definately not a fan but I am a long time SNL fan. She was suprisingly good. And they made her look about the best I've ever seen her. They did a 900-sex number skit aimed at nerds. The women talking sexually about Star Trek, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragon and Lord of the Rings while in costume. It was hilarious.

Paris is pretty cool. She is a regular at mansions in south beach. I have met her a few times and she is far from snobby. She will talk to you and actually have a real conversation with you even if you are no one famous or even rich. She is in fact very polite and friendly to everyone who talks to her weather you are a celeb or just a regular guy or girl.

Keane was massive about 1.5 - 2 years ago in the UK, and did reasonably well in the states. They have a few good songs, and the guy has a great voice, but all in all most of their songs are pretty simple and uninteresting. One of my friends bands actually beat them out in a new bands competition in London, but Keane definitely took off after that. That said, they are still about 300x better than most bands that do SNL.
