Anyone watching the games?

I can't tell what the disability is for some of the athletes at times.

The blind cyclists/tandem is absolutely amazing.

Its a great thing, the special Olympics. Man, it makes me realize things in a way........... its just great.

Does that have something to do with parachutes?


The Paralympics are on in Bejing right now, and after the first two days, the American team is in first place.

The disabilitites are often ranked, so for example in equestrian, from one to four.

On the English team, the two athletes who have a a level one (or most severe) disability, have cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis.

I think the level three athlete is missing an arm.

BBC2 is showing quite a bit of coverage of the games.

I do wonder about the choices of some of the sportsof the athletes, for example, the chinese swimmer with no arms.

What had her decide to be a swimmer with no arms?
