Sometimes I freak myself out by thinking bad things...It doesn't sound like a true panic attack by what you stated...there is help and medication if they get to bad and feel free to pm me....this is my area of expertise

but they seemed to have subsided now and may sound silly but i have stopped all cafeine at the min and im putting it down to me just drinking too much coffee but thanyou anyway.

I used to get them real bad. feels like your gonna die..they are terrifying. Try to tell yourself that it's gonna go away (the panic feeling) and that it's just a bad feeling that will last for only a few momentts and pass. the more you think that you are gonna die, or, that your friend died..etc...the worse it'll get.

Yeah what you say is just how it is but i seem to be getting through this now as I think I was causing it every time I started to think I was going to have a panic attack I did so now I just tell myself im not gonna have one and I dont.

Thanks Bro

The thing with panic attacks is that they are usually triggered by benign arrhythmias or stressors.

Too much caffeine can predispose you to premature atrial contractions. You will feel PAC's as palpitations... you'll think your heart is skipping beats. Even though PAC's are benign, people feel the palpitations and assume that they're heart is going to have an irregular rhythm. They then start panicking.

If you have chest pain or shortness of breath, it is best to be evaluated by a doctor to determine if it is panic attack or something else (cardiac chest pain, pulmonary embolism, etc.).

I got checked by my doc last friday 1st july blood pressure and listened to my heart ect and said everything was fine but I do have an apointment with the nurse on Tuesday 12th july for a full check up ECG, Cholesterol weight ect ect so that should hopefully put my mind at rest.

I will post how I get on.

I doubt you are having a panic attack, however it sounds like you are going thru some anxiety issues. With the gear + caffiene, this is the most likely scenario, IMHO.
Hope I helped Brother

He couldn't do that when you when 1 July? An EKG takes 2 minutes, as does a blood draw (although you should be fasting).

Honestly, if he's concerned enough to get an EKG, then it should be done immediately, not 11 days later.

Some primary care physicians really amaze me. I see you have a UK flag in your profile, so I guess you're in the UK. Is this how typical GP's practice in the UK? I've heard of long waits, but this is ridiculous.
