i'm am looking for a affordable hotel on the beach and in the middle of the action.
i have been staying at days inn but they are booked this year.

THE SUMMIT.........YOU WILL NOT REGRET STAYING THERE. ITS RIGHT NEXT TO LA VELA AND ITS CHEAP (AND BIG). TWO POOLS IN THE BACK. ITS THE BIGGEST BUILDING THERE SO NATURALLY, THE MOST PEOPLE WILL BE THERE. AND WHEN I SAY RIGHT NEXT TO THE CLUB, I MEAN RIGHT NEXT TO THE CLUB.

THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE WE STAY WHEN WE GO. WE'RE NOT GOING THERE ANYMORE THOUGH. WE'VE BEEN ABOUT 15 TIMES.

Does it ever get wild at La Vela? I went once, but it was not spring break and didn't live up to my expectations. Anyone know what the female/male ratio is during spring break?

Go the third or fourth week for the Florida women. I heard the fourth week is best. They come down from Indiana etc for the 2nd week....girls are not near as hot.

It maybe too late to find a room. There is a campground in town I heard.

What about the Boardwalk Beach Resort? I thought that was the place to be...right next to Club LaVela. The whole strip is packed though. The place is nuts for Spring Break. I hit it last year for the whole month of March. It's probably best when the SEC schools are out, but it's never a bad time.
