Palm Treo for tech guys...

Simple question..

How do you download ringtones on this thing? My last blackberry I would just go on cingular's website, pick the song and say what phone I had. They do not have the treo on their list of phones when you go to download ringstones.

Any help please.

Yes, as strange as it may sound, juicers use cell phones too...

Use the alarm manager. You can import the ringtones as midi files and go from there.

i use a ppc 6700 (which is nicer than the treo, imo), and all i have to do is connect my phone to the pc via a usb cable, dump the songs/ringtones on there i want to use, and then choose them as ringtones under my settings.

and paying for ringtones? you have got to be fucking kidding me. why would you pay $4-$7 for a midi ringtone, when you can download the same thing (legally, too) for free on the internet.

you have any idea how many dorks are out there making ringtones for 50 cent's 'candy shop'?
