pain is the game

Listen, to get your shins right, the nerves in your shins have to to die, that's the only way not to feel pain anymore. The only way is to keep kicking that heavy bag. You can kick anything as long as what you're kicking is softer than your shins. That's why in the old day's the thai fighters used to kick banana trees, they're softer than your shins.

What's the point of comparing grappling (eg Joyce Grace) with Muay Thai, they are completely different sports. I prefer Muay Thai, myself. I've seen grappling competitions, 1 or 2 punches then it's down to the mat for the rest of the fight, boring to watch.

Anyway, it'll feel better to block a kick right, than to have that kick land on your thigh and give you a charly horse for the rest of the round, it will incapacitate you.

My coach used to yell at use for flinching or showing signs of pain when blocking kicks.

Do like that the thai's, the harder they get you, the more u smile.

Muay thai is not for the weak or pain intolerant..

Sorry for that, supposed to be a reply to a thread about muay thai.

Don't know what happened there, I'm a little intoxicated at the moment.

Maybe I should log off and go to sleep...
