Pain In Upper Right Abdomen

I've been getting these pains in the upper right part of my abdomen, usually a little bit after taking some king of a pill. I was taking dbols pre-workout for a little bit, but I stopped because of these dull pains I was getting. I took a rather large dose of kava today, and got the same kind of pain. I know the liver doesn't have any nerves, but an enlarged or diseased liver can cause pain in the area. I'm planning on seeing a doctor, just wondering if anyone has had the same problem, or know anything about it.

I have an ulcer at the very bottom of my stomach, whenever I take any orals I have to pop two of my prescription Pepcids, if I don't, I pay for it with pain, but it's not dull, more of a just a knife stabbing me! But you could have a problem with the liver, or even diverticulitis.

Usually,sharp pains in the right upper abdomen,that come on suddenly,are due to gallbladder problems.Do you eat before these pains?have you been fasting,or on a very low-fat diet?Of course,the liver and gallbladder are connected,and we frequently see a person with liver disease also present with some kind of gallbladder problem as well<and vice-versa)...glad you are getting it checked
