P90X to get cut?

thinking about borrowing it from a buddy of mine and giving it a try. it gives you a diet plan, and the workout looks pretty intense. I was wondering would this be a good program to get cut and lean? i do have fat on me and would really like to start cutting up. so i was wondering if this was a good program if i follow it exactley like it says i should? the results people have made are pretty convincing to me.
 
i got a bro who does this, he's skinny as shit. wouldn't call him cut tho, just skinny. used to be a big fat fatty too, but he lost like 60 pounds before starting so

well i don't wanan lose a lot of weight, but i really do want to get cut, i just thought if this could get me lean its worth the hardwork not like this is any type of short cut from what i've heard

So did you ever try this? How were your results?

I really don't see why people on this site dog this routine. It does everything people on these boards suggest. Like switching up your routine, sticking to a good diet plan, having meal plans in advance and eating 5-6 times a day.

Sure, the "get ripped in 90 days" is bullshit, but they are also trying to make money so marketing doesn't surprise me.

They have a rotating work out plan, they give you a meal schedule for every meal with all ingredients to plan your meals every day, and they have forums to start your routine with others so that you have a support group which is exactly what we are doing here on EF.

So besides the marketing BS, I don't see why this is a bad program for cutting. But I would want to hear from some people that have tried it.
 
My step dad uses it. Before I thought it was the usual BS, but it actually is pretty legit. The meal plans are good and the workouts are pretty intense. If your trying to get strong or gain size this isnt for you, but for weight lose and cutting up it would work.
 
a good bro of mine does it, i went over to his house one day and did the routine. it is NOT easy, looks like sissy girlie shit but once u start doing it, u gain respect.
