p/c/f/cals site

You need to be specific on fitday...you cannot just say steak. By this I mean what kind of steak? - veal steak, beef steak, ham steak?

ex.
steak ==> beef, tenderloin - then it will ask fat% and grade, method of cooking

ex.
chicken ==> chicken, breast - then it will ask boneless, skinless, method of cooking etc.

Give it another try. :)

Now I see...I read a different post of yours!

check out this link for your beef questions *remember not all beef is the same you must check the grade to be most accurate.

safeway sells "select" unless marked otherwise
albertsons sells "choice" unless marked otherwise

http://www.txbeef.org/shopping_smart.php3#cuts

for best results on fitday (or any other chart) ==> primal cut , grade & method of cooking

ex.
package you buy says: London Broil

London Broil comes from: Flank steak

Flank steak comes from: the FLANK (use the beef chart here)

fitday might say: Beef, flank , separable lean and fat, trimmed to 0" fat, choice , cooked, broiled

does this help? :)

albertson supermarket?
Yes!
What's in your area? Publix? Winn Dixie?
Ask anyone in the meat department what grade they sell if it is not on the package. :)

dam husband:/ he big i can take him :)

damnit 1lb:/ so i suppose supermarkets dont sell 4oz steaks but rather 1lb cuts ?

most supermarkets can/will cut meat to your specifications if they have processing on site just ask.

If not invest in a scale that has 1/8 or 1/4 oz. increments (very helpful)

he's a big guy...she's 6'2" :)

other sites for protein/fat/carb cal measurements are netrition.com and go to the food nutrient section...just a thought
