Oxandrolone Day 6

Well I worked out my upper body yesterday and noticed some strength gains already. If they were negligible I wouldn't have considered them being out of the ordinary but they were fairly substantial.

This was my 2nd upper body workout and I had 3 full days in between them for recovery. My standard protocol for bench has been 4-5 sets of 6 reps. When I can get the full 6 reps on each set I add 5 lbs. It usually takes 2 weeks for me to get the full 6 reps again and I did 1 chest day per week.

So on day 1 of my oxandrolone cycle I was at my 2nd week of the same weight and figured I'd be able to get my full reps from the previous 5 lb increase. I did with no problem so I figured I'd add 5 lbs on my next workout. So yesterday I load up 5 more lbs and easily whip out 6 reps on the first set. It was so easy I knew I'd be able to get 4 sets more with no problem. So on my 2nd set I added 5 more lbs and got my 6 reps fairly easy. At this point I decided to stick with the weight and finish out the workout. I was able to get 6 reps on each set so again I'll add 5 lbs next chest day. I probably could have added 5 more lbs and done 6 though it would have been more of a strain. Also I was in a rush and was keeping rest periods short. Had I waited 3 minutes between sets I know for a fact I could have gotten the full 6 sets with another 5 lbs.

So essentially I added 10 lbs to my bench in the time it usually takes to add 5. Not only that but I'm in a caloric deficit which usually causes me to lose strength. I know it's not groundbreaking but nonetheless it's noticeable. I felt stronger on my other exercises too so I'll be adding weight next time.

As far as general feelings so far, I noticed a better pump yesterday for sure and looked leaner in the mirror. I don't think I'm much leaner in the gut yet, it's still less than a week, but due to the greater pumps I can see more veins and some striations I'm not used to seeing. Also my inner pecs were definately showing more definition, again I'm sure it has to do with the pumps. My pump seemed to last a bit longer than usual post workout as well.

Today I'll be doing lower body so we'll see how my squat strength fares. For those still interested in these minor updates keep reading them, for those that aren't just ignore them :)
 
Are you trying to bulk or cut with your cycle? Just curious as to the route you are taking to reach your goal. If we are going the same route it'll be interesting to see if there are many differences. If you are going the opposite route, ie bulking, it'll be definately interesting.
