Its probably fine. I had some old creatine that wasn't sealed, but it still appeared the same and was tasteless after 1-2 years. Provided it was stored in a cool, dry place I wouldn't worry too much.

Unless the type of creatine was a citrate based creatine then there would be no taste as creatine doesn't have a taste so using taste as a sign of 'safety' is useless. If it was a monohydrate then it would contain water at levels of 12% or higher depending on the purity so it will degrade over time and have higher levels of creatinine (note different spelling) as a result. After two years, even if it was sealed, you are best to throw it out.
