Bro's i have a problem with some of the things that were said. I love lifting, wouldnt call myself a true bodybuilder really, but i eat, sleep, and train hard 8-10 hours a day in the gym. Im in the gym 5 days a week, and maintain my protein and calories to the fullest. However there are 168 hours in a week and we spend 8-10 of those in the gym. Yea we have to sleep and plan our meals and all that shit but damn does bb really have to take up our whole lives? Cause think about it im never going to stop training , but damn if im going to be old and gray and look back at my life and see nothing but Golds Gym then fuck that. Like someone earlier said about their friends eating pizza and that they couldnt eat that and had to bring a shake or whatever to eat with thier friends. WTF! Does it need to come to this. Damn bro eat! A piece or two of pizza shouldnt stop you from chillin with your boys or eating with your girl. If a piece of pizza is going to fuck you up then there's probs. I believe in takin lifting to the max, but damn im not jepordize friendships over it. Like someone said you just have schedule around things. So what if you go out late friday night and hang withyour friends till 2 or 3. Its the weekend sleep in! I hope i dont get flamed on this one and i respect a diehard bodybuilder with the upmost respect. But when you talking about bbing getting between bro's that have been there for you for a long time and/ or a girl you love, then maybe you need to step back and look at the big pic. Just my 2 cents. Flame me if you must. And please dont say im not dedicated cause you have no idea. Peace
 
i will be struggling to have a social life once school starts again,ill be working mon-wed and sat and i workout afterwards but on my days off i will be swamped with homework ,but i know with my cycle coming up that there is no fucking around and ill have to deal with it,this is why i dont bother getting a girlfriend,now i only have to answer to friends but they know what working out means to me
 
yeah, i think that's what he said... anyway.... all i know is you dont grow in the gym, you grow during rest and sleep.. i'm in and out of the gym in an hour and a half at the most. i get in there.... i can honestly say i am one of the most intense and have one of the best bodies in my whole gym..... bro's... dont spend alot of time in the gym... do what you gotta do ... dont fuck around and wait 4-5 minutes between sets and end up being in the gym for 3 hours.... (or apparantly 8-10 for some people). if this is what you're doing then you're cheating yourselves and you're lazy. get in ... fuckin' lift and get out... nourish youself and live your lives.

WTF! I meant a week dude. Damn. My bad i thought being older guys we could figure a little typo out. Guess not. And Im not in the gym longer than an hour to an hour and a half either, but i also do cardio so that an extra few hours. Dont get mad bro's but you dont have to pick on something so obvious as a little f'in error like that. Damn!

Become a powerlifter. We have more fun than bodybuilders. Some even get drunk the night before a contest.
 
I feel you bro, and I face what you face. My friends mock me for my dedication to bbing, even though I could kick their asses. Lifting is priority number one in my life, and if anything gets in my way, I knock it down. Some people might say it is unhealthy to neglect important things that conflict with bbing. I dont care. It is my pasion in life. Nothing is more important for me. That is why I resort to aas and just jumped on the insulin. It is also why I feel as though I might have Bigorexia. Check out my post on bigorexia if you wanna hear more. In my opinion, have fun in your life and lift like a beast, but the key is balance. You have to find the perfect balance between the two. Happiness is the overall goal of everyone, and everyone has their own way to achieve it.
