I just pulled a muscle I think while playing bball, my harmstring

basically it hurts like bitch sometimes and sometimes it just hurts anyway, I cant stretch my harmstring cause that hurts 100 times more.. I can walk but it feels weird

its a pulled muscle right? not a tear or anything

anyone with similar experience
 
for a muscle pull, you'd want to apply ice at first to minimize swelling.....but heat, or alternating heat and ice later. you could also massage it a few times a day, and use icey hot.
 
Make sure you stretch it and slowly get back to running. I pulled a hamstring playing softball years back, it hurt like hell for a week.
 
A pull and a tear are the same thing...just different levels of strains. Just let it heal by itself, not much you can do except manage the pain...try not to take anti-inflammatories. Heat and ice are good though.
