I jacked up something in the lower right ab region this morning. I did my 45 min cardio and started working my abs...was doing incline crunches...on set 2...at about 32 reps and BOOM! Thought someone stabbed me in the gut. What the heck did i do?? Just pull a muscle? What can I do to relieve the darn pain (if anything)? The pain is about an inch over to the right from my belly button. It HURTS. Can't bend over and it certainly stopped me in my tracks.

Perhaps a sign of how out of shape i really am?? :worried:

Help!?!

OH...is there a good way to stretch out the abs muscles?

er........

does it hurt when you cough?

Try laying on the floor and pointing your toes, flat back, and extending your arms above your head also flat, reaching the the sky. Then pull you trunk into your chest and give yourself a hug still laying. Then curl your trunk to the left, with your arms layed out sideways, flat and look to the right. Do the same thing on the other side. Curl your trunk to the right, and look left. I hope that helps a little bit.

You'd be surprised how they can occur -- I got mine just sitting up in bed then getting out of bed -- all of a sudden BAM!! I guess the movement caused the cyst that had formed to burst.... But it was approx. in the same area & felt as described.....

Als - I dont think her ovaries are "bellybutton level"

Ok, much pain when pulling trunk into chest. :worried:

Cyst will pop up and then be reabsorbed by the body.....thats no biggie...I also dont htink that it waht it was...in order to be at a rupture point....it has usually been there for a whilew...I think you wopuld have noticed it before the ab work...

Also - set one would have caused pain if it were a cyst
