ouch! possible infection

My fina started getting a bit cloudy. White stringy stuff started to form a tiny bit at the bottom of the jug. So I tossed it in the oven at 220 degrees for 5 mins to see if that helped.

Injected last night into my glute and it felt like I hit scar tissue but when I pushed to go through it, clear liquid came out even before I pushed down on the plunger to inject.

Had me thinking that I might have develeoped and infection and when I injected into the infected area it was puss that came out.

Today it is really sore...and I'm not sure if it's sore from an infection or just normal sorness from injection. It's not too bad but still a little concerned.

I guess I'll just look for swelling and redness over the next couple of days and hope the pain goes away, which would releive my worries of a possible infection.

I think that's all you can do. If turns into an absess or boil, you may be able draw some of the puss out w/epson salt and a warm cloth. Good luck, keep us updated!

Yes I have insurance. It might be best to goto a doctor right away, but i'd like to see if it's just injection sorness and goes away instead of going to a doc for nothing.

I'm under my parents insurance...still a college student and getting the info to goto a doctor from my mother wouldnt go over well with an explaination with what for. She knows about my steriod usuage and would know right away what it was about...and my credibility with my claims of knowing what I was doing would get thrown right out of the window.

She doesnt agree with my behavior and is against it 100% but she understands that a 23yr old man can make his own decisions.

If it turns out to be an infection I have no shame in letting her know and going to the doctor. My health is more important than what my mother thinks of my stupidy and drug use.
