are there any OTC acne meds or will i just have to order something. im starting my test/tren soon and i know that test will break me out bad. thanks guys

Clearasil daily facial wash, benzyol peroxide cream 10% and the pads for your back!

i currently have panoxyl or whatever its called but i would like to add something else to my "anti acne arsenal" lol

Large doses of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) can help an awful lot for lot of people. But I'm takling large doses....starting at 10g day, and gradually reduce to a maintenance dose of around 3.5g. This is a lot, so if you wanna try it, you need to find a good cheap source of it. But seriously, read up on it, it helps a lot for a lot of people.
And of course the obvious things like cleanliness, clean clothes, etc.

A cleanser with salacylic acid for the mornings and a cream with benzoyl peroxide for nighttime is a good place to start.

From UK internet pharmacies you can order differin gel or retin-a cream which is very effective and only available through presciption in the US.

without a doubt the best product we have ever ran across. platinum labz.com ACNE ANNIHILATOR. This stuff is a miracle worker on skin. No side effects either and cheap.
MY camp has used this exclusively for the last 1-1.5 yrs and have witnessed tremendous results.

what about accutane? i know its not OTC

acutane sucks im on it now an hate it dry skin chapped lips, paranoid about the liv and sensitive to the sun...im hoping this does the trick for my cystic pimples i get, im going threw a OUT BREAK now....i can say from experience tho the b-5 does work and will clear your skin of out breaks but not the big pimples for me, also the sylitic acid wash and a good bristle back brush...and wash up right after the gym....i could controll my out breaks but never get completly clear and have always had the big ugly deep ones... trust me on this one, acutane is really a last resort

Acne is not curable but it can be controlled.
The causes of acne are linked to the changes that take place as young people mature from childhood to adolescence (puberty). The hormones that cause physical maturation also cause the sebaceous (oil) glands of the skin to produce more sebum (oil). The hormones with the greatest effect on sebaceous glands are androgens (male hormones), which are present in females as well as males, but in higher amounts in males.
Sebaceous glands are found together with a hair shaft in a unit called a sebaceous follicle. During puberty, the cells of the skin that line the follicle begin to shed more rapidly. In people who develop acne, cells shed and stick together more so than in people who do not develop acne. When cells mix with the increased amount of sebum being produced, they can plug the opening of the follicle. Meanwhile, the sebaceous glands continue to produce sebum, and the follicle swells up with sebum.
In addition, a normal skin bacteria called P. acnes, nes, begins to multiply rapidly in the clogged hair follicle. In the process, these bacteria produce irritating substances that can cause inflammation. Sometimes, the wall of the follicle bursts, spreading inflammation to the surrounding skin. This is the process which acne lesions, from blackheads to pimples to nodules, are formed.
What You Should Avoid:
Junk Food, Cosmetics, Over-cleansing, Sweating, Stress, Touching & Squeezing.
Things that often make acne worse
•Oil-based makeup, suntan oil and hair products
•Stress
•Hormonal changes, especially during menstruation
•Squeezing or picking at blemishes
•Hard scrubbing of the skin

Use the scrub once in 3 days if you have severe acne. Frequent scrubbing may lead to rashes in the face. If the acne is mild, use scrub once in a week. Do not use scrubs if you have pimples in your face. Scrub might irritate and aggravate the pimples. Drink plenty of water. Water will reduce the oil and fatty agents in your body and help getting rid of acne and pimples. Mix little bit of honey to lemon juice and apply at the affected areas. Make sure honey is not applied over hair or eyebrows. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash with water. You can lukewarm water to this mixture and drink. Keep your face and hands clean. Clean your face when you are exposed to dirt & dust.
There is not proven evidence that acne is genetic. However women tend to get acne despite healthy lifestyle. Hormonal imbalances play a vital role in acne. Check your blood works and understand the root cause of the problem. Consult a doctor and get treated. Though medicines treat, a healthy life style is essential for a healthy life.
