Ordered my shirt yesterday, PLJAY?????

Hey guys well I took Jay's advice since he is master at denim and ordered my shirt. I ordered a inzer single denim with the velcro back closed in. Now here's my question I ordered it with exact measurements. How long does it take inzer to send shirts I know I ordered the 6-7 days, but it said with velcro an extra 5 days. So does this mean I'll have my shirt in 12 working days. That's tooo close to my ST PETE meet. How will I go for getting into the groove with the shirt. This will be my first time putting on a shirt. So say if i have a week before my meet. I know I'll train monday and rest til saturday. BUT how will i train if I have my shirt that day. Just do dynamic work I want to see how much I can put up in the shirt since I have no idea and the last thing I want to do is donut at the meet(donut is not even get my opener).
 
It depends on how bussy they are. I ordered mine on a thursday and they told me two weeks. then on wednsday comes a package from inzer. I thought it was just the other stuff that i ordered from them , but when i opened it up there was my shirt and all. it took like 6 days. I got lucky. You'll probably be lucky to get it the day of the meet but who knows. If you do get it i'm sure that we can work with you in it on the day of the comp or go see Bob. He'll get you straigtened out with it in no time.
 
YEA THAT'S RIGHT I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THAT. If I see the shirt comes in on time I'll have to shoot bob an email and see if I can hang with his crew. I'm going for a 1,000lb total by the meet 3 weeks ago I totaled 955. So i'm thinking I'll be good over 1,000. If I havn't really done much for deads will my deads still go up if i'm training glutes and hams.

I still need help on the shirt though. And how should I train with it when I get it to prepare for the meet.
 
If your still hitting your glutes and hams and sqautting and stuff then your deads should go up. But haw much depends on how hard you are hitting everything. If you have day that your not competing and arn't to sore like fri or sat. try pulling some speed deads with about 50% of your max. Yu do not want to really train on this day but it is just to get yur groove back for the meet. Do five or six sets of 2 reps.

Good job. You will like the shirt. Its gonna be close i will tell you that.

As far as glute and ham work, i believe you will stay strong i fyou train them. And slack on deads.
 
Thanks but Jay tha big problem is how do I train when I get the shirt if it's right before my meet. I know it's really cutting it close and I have no experience in a shirt. I'm not as much worried about my deadlift training b/c I think I have a pretty good pull, but then again I look at my lifts compared to others and it's like OK FORGET IT.
 
Just pu tth eshirt on when you get it and feel it. If it feels good wear it. Its not gonna be that bad. But if it feels to awkward it may be to late to use at this one. BUt through it on and feel it.
 
Feel the shirt how do you feel a shirt???? Well if I put it on and it "feels" fine. Then how should I train with it.

I had an unknown meet today, it was unknown b/c I found out about it after school. With 3 hours to the meet. I'll post results.
 
Haha ... dude your too much! When i say feel the shirt , i mean put it on and if it works good use it. I am still laughing! Since you do westside i think westsiders put it on after speed for a couple attempts. Speed bench. Do a couple sets in it. If you get it with little notice to train in it. Go under you r opener and work with the shirt. If it "feels" good wear it. Feel meaning it feels good on whil eyou lift. Dont rub it with your fingers and feel it! Just kiddin, thats what your post looked like to me!
 
HA HA HA, not funny!!! j/k. Well I'm like reading feel and im like how is my body suppose to feel a shirt. Well here's the thing how will I know how much I'ma put up in a shirt if I go under my opener. In fact after today I don't even know what my opener is now.
 
Let me tell you something young jedi! If that shirt fits the way its supposed to, you will bench close to your raw max with little effort. Grimmer presses like 300 raw and was playing with 365. he will pause around 340 or so in St pete. So go up till you feel heavy in it. But have spotters for YOUR saftey. Those shirts go were they want to if rubbed wrong. Dude after you lift in it you will then, and really only then know what we mean when we say "groove" and "feel". You will see what i mean. Dont worry. Wory about it getting there in time not training in it. Just use it when we say and your gonna have it down ...just liek the whole westside routine you do. Your a quick little learner!
 
Just a side note. I am looking forward to meeting you, i bet your a trip! I picture this little Italian dude with an attitude like Jim Carey!
 
Thanks and so am I. you can ask any of my friends i'm the biggest trip and smart ass around. But i take my lifting shit serious, thats about it. :D . Well I don't know about Jim Carey, but ALLL RIIIGHHHTTY TTHEENNN, LEEETTSSS FFEEEELLL our shirts, shall we.
 
I can just picture cubanito rubbing the shirt with his fingers and being like....well it "feels" pretty good. I was dying when i read it.:FRlol: :FRlol:
 
YEA HEy thanks guys lets just rank on cubanito over here, since we have nothing better to do. Na j/m i'ma jokster I can take it. Well I read from my own library of links one that was talking about building mass part 1 and 2 by Berardi. And there's one thing I don't get the cal intake he's speaking of is just about what i'm doing right now. I calculated and it's really about 60g/fat 250g/carbs and close to 200g/protein and cal intake is around 2300 I seriously can't eat that much. I just don't get that hungry and I know so manny carbs isn't good for me right. And I need the protein to build a good statue of muscle. DAMNIT why does this diet stuff have to be soooo hard. Now that I wanna gain weight I can't. I was eating donuts, M&Ms, cookies, rolls, chicken sandwhiches, went to mcdonalds 5 hamburgers and super size fries, plus my shakes and bars and cereal and granola bars and meatball subs. Also the 2 gallons of water minimum and I didn't gain 1lb today. HOW THE FUCK. I mean don't get me wrong i do like it in a way. But wouldn't I want to be heavier to lift more. Or is it cool as long as i'm eating alot and I weigh what I do now, 177.
 
Like i said in your other post give it time. Its harder to gain than to lose for most of us. I eat twice what you do and am barely gaining a pound a week.
 
simple way to make yourself feel bigger... i did this once

eat a whole lot, and drink a whole lot, until your bladder is gonna burst, just chug like a gallon... step on a scale... the numbers will fly up, if you do exactly what i just told you i garuntee an 8 lb gain in a day
 
Dude deciever you don't get it bro I drink water like it's going outta style I'm the only mofo in my school that carrys around a gallon of water and by the end of the day I'm filling it up before I workout and go threw that one too, during my workout. I drink minimum 2 gallons a day. And i eat 7 times a day sometimes in b/w if i can get more food. And it's like I just don't gain anymore weight. On a 2300-2400 cal diet/day.
 
dammmn... you eat/ drink like crazy... idk why you cant gain weight, if that was me, i'd be up to like 160 lbs(im 132 now) in no time
 
2400 calories? If you know how many you are eating you are not eating enough. I don't eat as much now as I did when I was younger, but I bet I eat at least 3500+ on a normal day without trying to eat a bunch. I am just that hungry. Eat more. You think you eat a lot. You are not eating a lot. Listen to Arioch.

Brian the reason I know how many cals is b/c when I eat something in the day I write it down and then at night I calculate and see how much is fat/carbs/protein. I'm trying to up my eating, but it's just that my body got so used to eating like a BB to maintain weight at all times that my metabolism is sooo fast I can't gain weight. I even tried upping my water intake and drinking sodas now like 2 a day it's not helping well it didn't help today at least.
