oral vs. injectable vs. topical

muscleboundaus said:
are all methods of intake effective? also, are legal steroids as effective or are they not as potent?

Some steroids, specially those that arent 17-alpha-alkylated, must be injected.
Most 17-a-a while they could be injected, they arent marketed in injectable form, except winstrol.

Topical is a waste in my opinion, little is absorbed.

Legal steroids are prohormones, they are weak compared to steroids.

hey man, thanks for the info.; much appreciated

i really hate topical, never really done any topical gear, but im using the AIFM and its not my favorite method of administering it, dont get me wrong it works great, just dont like topicals. Orals are ok, but you have to spread them out and that becomes a pain in the ass and you have to take milk thistle, thats another pain in the ass. so i would say inj. are best, especially long esters, plus better absorption. IMO topical gear is a waste, but then again i never tried it, just my assumption.

Each method has it's benefits and drawbacks.

Topicals aka Transdermals get a really bad rap on this site IMO. Most seem much more comfortable injecting. For much more transdermal info send me a PM and I can send you in the right direction.

Transdermal applications can be quite effective and are quick absorbing into the blood stream = faster in & faster out. There are far fewer suppliers of transdermals and with limited availability comes less popularity. Testosterone, Nandrolone, Trenbolone, and Boldenone base steriods can all be easily converted to transdermal applications. The tricky part is guesstimating the absorption rate.

The second drawback is the daily preparation and application of the compounds. Most do it immediately after showering and make it part of a daily routine. This is because the pores of the skin are 'wide open' and most will scrub with loofa or shave areas to be applied to prior to application.

Orals (most) are liver toxic and should be kept to shorter cycles 6 - 8 weeks max. Costs tend to be much higher per mg than injectables and you don't know exactly how much the passes the liver and actually gets into your blood stream.

Injectables are most accurately dosed and are priced better than other two options per mg. Obviously requires you to either self shoot or have someone inject you. Infections and abcesses are two of the common problems with injecting but over time you learn how and where your body takes it best.

It's a matter of personal choice and of course, what you have access to.
