Hey, i got 2lbs of this..but it says 1g per pound? That means i have to take 160 grams a day? that can't be right...theres only like 900 grams total in there i think. How much do you take a day?

and once again, when's this good to take? i heard after workouts is a ideal time.
 
They are simply suggesting the accepted norm for protein intake for bb'ers. This is 1 gr. per lb. of bodyweight. This does not mean to take it all in protein powder. Get your protein shake pwo for instance, but try to get the majority from whole foods.
 
as far as when to take your whey protein, about 30-60 minutes prior workout and within 30-60 minutes after workout. Depends on how far you are in to lifting and all (and i DO NOT meen to sound mean or disrespectful cause i have lots to learn still) but take it when you first wake up also. but if your asking when to take it then i think you dont need to worry about that right now in your stages. Like i said NO DISRESCEPT at all.

PWO I would shoot for about 1/4 your bodyweight when trying to gain. So, if you weigh 200 lbs. for instance, 50 gr. would not be a bad idea. You can adjust as you feel needs.

Any other time, whole foods will fit the bill nicely, though the powder is good for a quick protein fix, not to mention a nice chocolate shake tastes pretty good after tons of tuna and chicken breast.

If bulking, you can add heavy cream and fruit for instance for a nice calorie increase, not to mention a great taste treat. The fats create a high anabolic drive. This was in fact Larry Scott and Frank Zane's, 2 pretty good Mr. O's favorite mix. (I would not do this pwo though) ;)
 
I use this stuff, i take 2 scoops in am 2 scoops in pm the rest of your protein you need you take in with food!
