Opinions Of Shorter REFEEDS.. ?

I am curious what you guys think about shorter more packed refeeds.

Instead of 24-48 hours every 3-5 days or something along those lines what do you guys think about 6 hours refeeding every 3rd day? Does this sound like a bad idea?

Please help me out guys with what you think. Basically binging on low-fat foods. Packing in a ton of low-fat foods etc. As many carbs as you can take in 6 hours.

Monstar, every 6 days i do a 6 hour refeed...Works great for me!I can feel the energy in my workouts carry over...Plus, i can eat a ton in 6 hours, but not THAT much. You got aol or AIM? I'd like to talk to you.
 
I asked Lyle McDonald about short more brief refeeds and heres a quote in an email from Lyle:

  • "Actuially, last summer, out of some weird-idea or another I did this (there was some data showing leptin could get boosted in 5 hours of pigging out or something).. I was training M/W/F and doing like a 5 hour refeed right around training. I'd start with a pre-workout meal and pig out until bedtime). Then go back to dieting the other 36 hours w/ cardio in the morning. Worked well as I recall, muscles stayed full and I always got a good pump and fat kept coming off.

Seems good to me! Refeeding on low-fat foods for around 6 hours every 3 days. Lots of fun and working well so far!
