Opening my Own gym?

I have really been considering opening my own gym the last few months, what is required to get started in a business like this? Any info at all would be helpful to get me an idea of what I have to do first....

Don't know, but I think it would be a great gesture to give free 1 year memberships to all elite members in your area.

1) business plan

2) finances

3) location

4) equipment lease options ( poor idea to purchase untill you establish your client base )

5) set up a numbered company ( someplace to suck out the cash when you go tits up )

6) incorperate your company so your personal assests can't be taken when someone decides to sue your ass off for slipping in the shower .

The list just keeps going and going and going ... i owned my own gym years ago and sold out at first sign of market downturning

Maybe it will be one of those gyms like they have in Iran where there is a big bowl of DBol's at the front desk and dudes just grab a handfull and munch on them while working out!
