Thunderstorms and rain are excellent renting movies and making out days.

Too bad it hardly rains in Southern California.

Yeah, you poor thing. :smash:

I'll see if I can send a hurricane your way. :verygood: ;)

I love the rain storms in the summer. Not too long ago i was barefoot, outside running around in one at night with my neigbors. Good times.

I love storms. I don't get out and play in them or "get under a tree," but I still love watching them. However, they are much more fun if you have someone to enjoy them with.

:qt: it rained here in S.D. and im happy to say i had my snuggle partner with.

Tuc Thanks again!

It's amazing how common the feeling is among people. I love storms, especially sitting on a porch during a summer rain and listening to the drops beat against the roof.

When I was younger, I used to drive down to the ocean during bad storms and climb up on the seawall to watch the waves crash against it mercilessly. The power of it is so intimidating when your up close. It's amazing.

Now I'm hoping it does rain this weekend so I can take my girl outside and make love to her in the rain

I use to do the same, except we don't have seawalls. I use to go out on the pier and watch the waves. :supercool

I love storms along the shore. One time I was camping with some friends down at Indian River Inlet in Delaware when a hurricane blew through. If you've ever been there, you know that the inlet is lined with huge boulders along the edge, the waves smashing against and over them was incredible. Boats do not travel there during storms.

It was also kinda scary being in a tent at sea level during all of that...

big4life: Isn't it something:) Whats nice about the seawall is that you can see it crash just feet below you, and at times the roar is deafening. Never feel so small and insignificant, not even with a huge night sky. The ocean is oblivious to you, yet could crush you out of existence. I can sort of appreciate the appeal the ocean has for some men.

Forge: I think I go canoeing down that way. Im poor with names. Is that in the Gap. That would be incredible, especially in a tent. I haven't been camping in years, my ex hated it, but also hated letting me go without her. I'd love to do that again soon.

When I was living overseas the houses had tin roofs, the sound of a hard rainfall was deafening, I loved it. We'd go out and play in the mud, hide under a big banana leaf, make dams and trenches...ahh, good times.

Yeah, down in the gap. I've camped there many times in my life, though not for many years now. We used to always camp there and then run the bikes down to OC Maryland for the nightlife, although Bethany was usually better for picking up chicks. Used to also be friends with a girl who worked in the french fry stand at Indian River, cool girl.

Do you live far from the gap?

Im just off Rt 80, and its not far to get to Penn. If so, we should get together one night somewhere in between

Heh, about 2-1/2 hours NW, I live in the Reading area of PA. Actually I'm probably closer to you now than I am to the gap, heh.
