Oompa Loompas

Are those the stupid little fucks of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?

Strange info about the Oompa Loompas:
- there was a candy called "oompa loompas" produced in the 70's, similar to peanut butter
M&M's. There were also suckers with oompa loompa wrapping on them.
-the oompas in Roald Dahl's book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, are described as "a
minature tribe of pygmies imported directly from Africa."
-a version of the book mentioned above was released in 1973 in which the oompas were
discribed as "short white hippies".......so we have some conflict from the two versions of
books and the movie........
-Wonka called upon the oompas by playing a short tune on his flute
-there were 10 oompas in all, 9 male and 1 female, some of which are dead now, all of
which were from all over Europe
