10 reps - 1.33 times the weight
9 - 1.30
8 - 1.27
7 - 1.24
6 - 1.21
5 - 1.18
4 - 1.15
3 - 1.12

The formula is to put weight on the bar till you can only do 1 rep. That is the ONLY TRUE 1RM Calculator.

I've flat benched 251 x 20 a couple weeks ago and according to the chart that gives me well over a 500 pound bench...which is FAR from true. The same goes for about every exercise I've found.

its pretty accurate for 10 reps and less...and 20 reps at 251 would be about 409, which is pretty close isnt it?

I don't have the calculator that I've been using lately handy...but it shows 20 reps with 251 like 505...or was it more...can't remember.

low 4's would be accuratte for me though.
