For one thing, the B vitamins are best absorbed when eaten in the complex -- the way it appears in nature. B12 injections were given to patients with anemia but that practice stopped decades ago. Any supplemental B complex tablet has a dosage thousands of times above the RDA. Even if a fraction is absorbed you'll get more than you could possibly use. Besides, B12 is water soluable. So even if you inject it directly into your bloodstream you'll piss it all out by the end of the day.
Mods if this is bad please delete...but calvetsupply.com is a place a lot of bros go for injectable b12 and bcomplex...very cheap and good service. Never done it myself, but have heard many people say there is no difference with the vet and human grade stuff.

I am looking to the B-12 to increase my appetite. I have heard that it does this. It can also give some people more reported energy.. mainly I'm just looking for the appetite enhancing qualities.
Lestat: Oral B12 spaced throughout the day will increase appetite just as well.
Desicatted liver tablets are good too.
Dibencozide (not sure if that's spelled right) which was an incredient in the "Metabolic Optimizers" back in the early 90's is also an excellent appetite stimulant.
