? on PS2 Madden 2001

Finally broke down and bought the PS2 yesterday. Damn, Grand Auto Theft 3 is a fucking pimp game. Anyway, on Madden 2001, any of you guys know how to tackle?!?!! I mean, is their a button or two that act as a turbo? I rented the game and it didn't have instructions in it... can't tackle for shit.

On defense, your circle button acts as a burst of speed. Don't use it too quickly, or your players will get tired.

Square does a diving tackle, but make sure you're close and your tackler is decent, or they'll break free.

I like 4-3 Man Lock or Whip Man for a lot of teams. Just got done playing the Chargers, and used a lot of 3-4 for them. Flutie was winging the ball all over the damn place.
