on-line journals

What do you folks think of on-line journals? I don't mean training or diet journals, but general, shooting-the-shit, talking about your life, bitching about your job type online-journals.

Do many of you keep one? (No, I'm not asking where). Have you found it more or less helpful to your life than having a paper journal or one on your hard drive? Do you read other peolpe's journals much? Do you find that if you do, you end up gravitating towards reading and being read by other fitness-minded people, even though that's not necessarily indicated by your journal name or description?

Just curious.
