sportsbook
betus is garbage
the only two sites worth fucking with are 5dimes and thegreek, period.
um....no.
i've bet on sportsbook for a year or so and have won some money there, and fortunately have not gotten ripped off but after i read the horror stories i pulled all my winnings out and moved to another site. however if you google sportsbook, there's a zillion complaints of not being paid out.
2betdsi has a really good rep. their online system is a little annoying and not as user friendly as sportsbook, but they're WAY more respected and won't cheat you out of your winnings.
bodog is junk.i used them and they were so-s0.. never got cheated but they took alongg time to send the money i won.. they did send it though
they have pretty good lines for the games also.. much better then bodog..only 2 sites i really know about..probably is better out there
This is a very risky time to be betting online - did you see what just happened to the big poker sites?

Meet The Boy Genius Who Just Took Down The Online Poker Industry -
it won't stick. and as a poker player this should outrage you. online has grown the game tremendously. all these "kids" who are playing so much are doing it as a job. they are doing it as an income, and most are making significantly more than most people. tell some kid who just swings 6 figures in a day to go back to college and he'll laugh at you. these aren't idiots, they are incredibly smart individuals.thanks for posting this. i heard about this when it happened and wasn't sure the implications.
and I am a poker player myself.. i play live.. i'm glad to see online go down.. sick of seeing these 17/18 year old's spending their lives playing poker online.... get out to the gym or focus on your education. some of these guys spend 20 hours straight playing online.
poker is about reading people, it should be played live.. not online. JMHO

It doesn't work that way. For someone to make 6 figures, cumulative losses for the millions of players only has to total 6 figures. Do the businesses make bank too? They make more than 6 figures in a given day. But unless you are familiar with rake, you don't understand how they profit. Your winnings come from the pocket of other players.. You actually wonder why losers don't reveal themselves? Isn't it obvious. If someone's making 6 figures - others are losing 6 figures (actualy more since the owners also make 6 figures). I wonder why losers are alwas ashamed at revealing themselves. Works great for site ownes, cuz they never have to worry about bad reviews.
Alos many hire people offshore to write reviews on sites of how they're making "lots" of money.![]()
It's not old news at all. The UIGEA was tacked onto a port security bill, and didn't even take full effect until 2010. Nobody "skirted" the law. It's not illegal for Americans to play online poker nor has it ever been. These laws only apply the companies who offer it and process payments, none of which are even located in the country.it doesn't outrage me at all. its old news. the bill was passed in 2006. the fact that people skirted the law for the past 5 years should outrage everybody.
here in FL our poker laws have actually become more liberal. we now have high stakes live poker.. and pretty soon they are gonna pass something where poker rooms no longer have to be pari-mutuals. right now either Indian reservations or dog/horse tracks can have poker. thats what a bad economy has done.. its made politicians do things they wouldn't normally do.. so poker is growing in FL. anyone who wants to play now has many options. CA, NV, FL, biloxi, Atlantic city.. etc etc. poker keeps growing
congress will pass something in the next few years allowing online poker and taxing it. all those online guys just have to be a little patient.. Reid already tried to pass it during the lame duck session but the R's wouldn't have any of it.
