? on chemistry of oil based winny

O.k. this question may be based on some misconceptions, so please feel free to constructively flame away. Is winny in an oil solution still 17A alkylated or is it necessarily 17B esterfied? And wtf does this have to do with whether or not it may be effectively absorbed by the digestive system?

It is still 17 alkylated. I don't think any of the 17 aa steroids are esterified since the release of the active drug is too slow to be effective.
