No, you can't put COTB on ignore. Something that I find ... distressing ...

Hypothetical situation, what if I found something a COTB said highly offensive, either personally or morally or spiritually. Why should I be FORCED to see their posts if they post on a thread I'm interested in reading? That is not fair.

THEIR rights as consumers take precedence over MY right to the pursuit of happiness.

If you put someone on ignore, you can't see what they are saying about you. They could be spreading all kinds of lies about you. I've seen it done to me. I despise people that make stuff up about others and lie about them on purpose to try and make them look bad.

Well, I said the same basic thing in another thread just now. No way to fight back, can't bomb 'em, can't red 'em, and can't ignore 'em, that's a tad unfair to the paying customers.

You get an individual who's a little unbalanced, starts power tripping, things can get unpleasant.

I don't know how you guys come up with that conclusion. Plats still have all the features they did before, it's just that now, there are a few, a very few, peeps that have some additional privelages than the plats. How is that going to cause the destruction of this site???

I watched him delete a post where MM called him out for giving her red. There was *zero* vulgarity there... nothing even close to inappropriate. He simply deleted a post that he didn't like. That's the worst kind of abuse IMO.

At this point, I don't trust him at all. As far as I know, he's deleting dozens (if not hundreds) of negative posts about himself, and maybe even falsly posting support threads about himself. I have to assume that he's widely distrusted and dispised on this site now, because I'd only believe the negative and ignore the positive considering how he abuses his new-found privledges.

THAT's what is PISSING me OFF!!! Seriously! Not the actual deletion of the post, I posted on his thread, he didn't like it, fine, whatever, but the fact he's saying I've harassed him? Abused him?

I never said boo to him before yesterday, I think.

He's taking his life persecution issues out on everyone because he's untouchable. Hammy's been teasing him, but I've seen other's take a lot worse on this board.

He's being a bully, I just hate bullies.

There is a fundamental issue here. I visit these boards to read and post, but the bigger reason is to interact with the underlying personalities here. Its a social network where you meet and get to know people. Now, we have someone grossly abusing a newly-given privledge that is distorting those personalities. Why bother trying to figure-out what people are really like since this guy will delete and alter posts to his liking?

It's time to find a new, non-abused board IMO. I won't be renewing my plat.

COTB -> $900 anuual
900 / 144 = 6 plat members.

1 bonehead COTB can certainly cost you a multiple of 6 plats. Imagine what 2 bonehead COTB's can cost, and so on and so on....

i was saying the same. they are truly trying to make the site "Elite". meaning very few. btw, Omega = not flamboyant enuff.

I'm the same as you, EF is my social interaction. What set me off was Omega's abuse, even though it wasn't originally directed at me, I just can't let crap like that lie when I see it happening.

That's right -- Omega has easily cost at least 6 plats. You have 38 (according to the poll) screaming, and I bet half of those are plats. So there is 19, but as a rule of thumb for every 1 that screams another 4 walk away.

So George, here's a good guesstimate. He's cost you 19 x 5 = 96 plats. Enjoy!

I really didn't find him that bad before. Since he bought his power, he's become unhinged.

Well before, he was just a pretty much useless spam poster so I could just ignore his threads. Now he's taking stuff down and altering content that shouldn't be touched, so I don't know if I'm reading his stuff or not.
