I know it's a few months away, but who plans on going?

Where is it going to be held? My head has been in the sand lately. I'll probably watch it on paid preveiw like I did last year. Have you ever been?

Held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay in October. It used to change venue cities, but has been in LV for a few years and likely will stay there for awhile.

they have a great deal of support in LV and will be there for a while. mandalay is very cooperative from what i hear. even event pricing is good there.

been there 3x, its very fun.

Thinking about going...Arnold's was a blast...I'm sure the Olympia will be as well.

Any reco's on where to stay? Mandalay Bay? $$$

Mandalay Bay is pricey, but it IS where all the events are held which is VERY nice. If I were going (and didn't live in LV) then I would try to stay at MB. It's a great hotel.

Luxor is next door, connected by a tram. Excalibur is next to Luxor, also connected by tram with Mandalay Bay.

Paris Hotel is cheap that weekend, Is that near the two also?

Paris, you take the tram to MGM, then cross over the walking bridge to Excalibur and tram it down to Mandalay Bay.

Honestly I wouldn't stay at Mandalay Bay, it's a total waste of money and it's so easy to get from hotel to hotel.

I'd rather use the hotel difference to stock up on cheap supplements during the last hours blow out sale.

PSB- LOL yah, stocking up on sups would be a great idea! I didn't even know there were trams connecting the hotels? I always walked from place to place in the HOT FRYING SUN buying water on every new block!

Trams connect MOST hotels. Usually the hotels that are owned by the same people are connected, but not always. You can probably get from one end of the strip to the other without spending a lot of time outside, it's just a matter of how LONG you want it to take. Trams are an easy way to get from hotel to hotel, but definately not QUICK. You usually have to go through the entire casino to get to the next tram station.

And in October, the weather should be GREAT here.

i will FOR SURE be there...kronk and i are planning on getting re-married for our tenth the same weekend....

ranger said he would be my maid of honor and wear dress for me..! woo hoo...

should be a blast, i think we will go from wed-sun, or thurs - sun, prolly stay at the bay like we did last year...

plus if a certain female does good at the usa, she will be there for the O, hell yea!
