yeah thats right, another one.

Let me see some good suggestion for a 3 day a week workout. Every workout is a ful lbody workout. The one who knows what im talking about post your suggestion.

Currently this is the one im going for, courtesy of old man wodin:

Day 1
Bench - Flat
Dead Lifts
Leg Press
Tri Press
Standing Curls

Day 2
Bench - Incline
Pull Downs
Squats / Calf Raises (Superseted)
Tri Pull Overs
Seated Curls

Day3
Bench - Db Press
Bent Over Rows
SL DL
Nose Crushers
Preachers Curls
 
Not really a true "old school" program.

Old school focuses on squats and deads with very little supplemental work.

i did, i read em all, but i really didnt get them. So i asked Wodin what it meant, you know he is so old he doesnt use big words like "supplemental" and so on :)

So if you could give your norwegian brother a little 101 i would appriciate it. I mean, you are at work anyway :)
 
Supplemental means direct arm work.

Benching and doing arms 3x per week is too much for me and probably 90% of all trainers.

Squats and the deads - especially the 20 reppers - build a tremendous amount of training intensity as well as mass.

Throw in a back exercise each training day, something for shoulder girdle and arms one day per week and that's the program.
 
a lot of the old school stuff is just the big 3, like cornholer said..

squat, dead, bench... work out done. when i was in HS (so when wodin was in his 30's) i had this guy who worked at the gym go nuts on my buddies and i... we were doin curles, donkey calves, shit like that... he starts flexing and shit telling us how his work of art body came from three exercises and none of this bull shit isolation stuff.

10 years later i'm still doing that isolation shit... i'm starting to have second thoughts now.

This is MMs first foray into the old school world. A little easing into the system wouldn't hurt. Plus it covers CHEST/BACK/QUADS every day. :P
 
Wodin - you are from the deep end of the gene pool - you can recover from that type of program - it would literally kill me - I would gain zero in the upper body
 
Ach, you people always wanna make things so complicated. why cant anybody just tell me "do this and this and come back to me in 12 weeks" instead of "well you can do this, or, this, or this, but this might be better than that and dodedodooo" maybe if i start doing the sauce then i will get the insight needed :D
 
Go do the old school program on the training board - 6 weeks is plenty
