Old school DVD recommendation-"The Ref"

HUCKLEBERRY FINNaplex

This ones about 10 years old,but it is a classic comedy.Stars Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey.I nearly pissed my drawers I was laughing so hard the first time I saw this, and I still laugh out loud everytime I have seen it since.Recommended rental,or buy if you find it on sale, one of the better comedies I've seen in many years.

Gus, a hapless jewel thief (comedian Denis Leary), kidnaps a
bickering married couple (Judy Davis and Kevin Spacey) on Christmas Eve
and ends up becoming a hostage himself in the couple's home. Forced to
play referee to their frantic feuding and to deal with their delinquent
son, annoying mother-in-law, etc, he finds himself at the mercy of this All-American dysfunctional household and wishing for a "silent night" anywhere else on the planet.

OMG,I love the part where Leary is one of his usual rants, and is taking it out on an antique doll.Spacey says to him,"Can you be more careful with that,it's a valuable antique passed down from my mother."
Leary goes,"Oh,I'm Sorry"and rips the doll's head off and chucks it across the room.:lmao: :lmao:

I bought the video after I was lucky to see this in the theaters. I missed the movie I wanted to see but the Ref was about to start. I'm glad I went in. I nearly collapsed laughing. Judy Davis plays Spacey's wife and usually does drama- "Why don't you eat me?!"
