Old school cycles.

A recent post on a thread here got me thinking about something.

Your cycle has me feeling all nostalgic for the cycles that used to be posted here 5 years ago. Good luck with this next one.

I have infrequently heard about how AAS users posted their high doses a few years ago. How Deca and T3 were considered some of the best drugs and were not bashed. Anyone have any background on this?

I'd like to hear the war stories of the pre-growth hormone days... dbol, test, parabolan and primo. None of the exotic UG gear that's around now... the goold ol' 25mg/ml deca...

Ulter, RADAR, DT... you guys were training back when you curled tree trunks b/c DB's hadn't been invented. How about some of the guys who trained in the 70s-890s chime in... what was it REALLY like back then?

i am interested in the old school ways also
i think its amazing they used no pct no nolva clomid and there were very few bb with gyno and most seem to have kept there gains unless they stayed on yeaqr round
i dont know i was not around then but would love to know what aqn old school cycle looked like

Hey man I'm interested in Old School too. Any body building book you pick up has old B&W pictures of Arnold training. I think it would be awesome to run through a OLD school cycle and old school training routine.

Dbol @20-100mg/day

my first cycle back in the 70's was a lil blue bottle of german dbol (ludwigs) we called them.
I posted this before but its worth repeating. i ran that bottle 3 months pyramiding up then tapering back down, bust my ass in the gym.
My bench press went from a 225. max to a 300 max.
Gained almost 25 lbs kept almost 22 of it.

Todays dbol cannot compare!

In my state Ga. the ones readily accessable were, Dbol, Winstrol,Anavar, Test, Deca, once in a while a load of primo would show up.

I'm sure others had their perferences and kept them to them selves.

Funny now-a-days, Dbol, Winstrol,Anavar, Test, Deca, ARE someones cycle!
No offense to the boys who run alot and many... I'm a two (maybe 3) AAS, moderate dose guy myself.

I was in the same state and I agree. I knew one guy in college that used EQ and he was the first I'd known to use it. I bought a 50ml jug of Finaject for $90 or something. I didn't know much about it but I figured 50ml for that.........IN! I don't even remember the strength, maybe 30mg or something. I actually threw away half the bottle because I got everything I needed out of it. The only winny tabs I ever saw were 2mg so it took a shitload to get anything out of them. Primo was still a pre-contest drug because it was expensive then too.

Yeah! everyone wanted primo when it was available,but pissed and moaned when they found how much it cost.

I still havn't had the luxery of doing a primo cycle yet!
