Also known as the twilight stage of sleep, you are conscious yet you feel paralyzed. I have experienced it a few times in the past, scary being conscious but not able to even twitch a muscle.

Nope, but I often get that feeling where I'm free-falling and wake suddenly. Its usually early in the night just when I'm falling asleep - not when dreaming, that's different (I don't remember my dreams). I read about it in one of my psychology texts, but have forgotten the specifics...

This didn't offend me... nor the 'fuck you' unsigned karma you sent me... you worthless fuck.

Good day. :)

sleep paralysis... scary shit... has to do with the seretonin levels... have it occasionally, even went to a sleep disorder clinic because i couldn't sleep and that makes the condition worse... which was evident last night.... thank god for drugs... better living through chemistry

Would you by any chance know if it is caused by seretonin levels being to high, low or just lack about seretonin uptake? thanks
