My nephew is now a pharmacist, I talked to him about it and described the products, he did some checking and he said that as long as they are kept sealed and sterile and in decent temps and out of sunlight they will go for a couple of years past the expiration date.

gp can you ask hime about orals? Not in reference to sterility but more along the lines of potency and what other changes may occur over time.
