old dnp

My buddy has some dnp that is about 1 1/2 years old. I was wondering if it is any good? He won't be using it and if I use it I won't be depending on it for a contest but just use it to for a little extra fat loss in the off season. I figure the potency has dropped a little bit but I could increase it if I don't see any results after a few weeks. - cbeaks
