So that is really why? This was a serious question......seems most women have better leg muscles then the men..So me looked great, but a couple of them I couldn't even tell they were flexing them
 
Squats 3 times a week will give you some big ass legs and a big ass ass. I know that one for sure haha

Calves are probably the most stubborn muscle group for most people. They are very genetic. Most with massive calves have never even worked them, many bodybuilders are afflicted with high calves or a short muscle belly. You don't ever see people with huge arms who don't work them, but for some reason calves you either have or you don't.
 
Ah I see....yes mine grow very fast......even just on the treadmill....but I have those softball looking kinda legs........also there was this guy in the 150's i think who had the smallest pecs I have ever seen....even built they looked like a deck of playing cards.....

women have better calves because theyre short, and have to get up on their toes all the time. also, theyre generally fatter with big fat swinging boobs, and therefore do low-stability calf raises all day, even just walking around the house. furthermore, women have to wear high heels, which cause mad calf spasms and humungous growth.

also, men like to work biceps all day, because they look purty :heart:

My calves r ok.

Just a little smaller than my arms, but they're cut nicely. :)

Just takes perseverence in the gym.

I have a harder time adding thigh size and I kick the shit out of my legs.

What are your arms? By the look of your avi they are atleast 13 inches ;)
 
I think a lot of bodybuilder guys try to work calves like they work biceps or chest and when they don't get results, they quit.

To make your calves grow, sometimes it takes extreme measures. My calves were always pretty good but I added an inch and a half doing 4-5 sets of minute long sets. Also, I would do break down sets on the seated... 15 reps with 4 plates, 15 with 3 plates...etc... Another method is to do 100 reps on standing presses, but do as many reps as you can rest 10 seconds and do as many reps and repeat... until you hit 100. You do this with a weight you can do for 10 perfect reps . Most guys are not willing to go through the hassle and the pain.

I have a friend who competes all the time and his calves are horrible... he asked me to take him through a calf work-out and he quit halfway through. Fucking pussy.

I've lifted fro 20plus years now....an I have never competed due to my calves...I'm 6'2" 240 lbs....50" chest 18.5" bicepts....36" waistline...but from the knee down..I look like a 150 lb guy.......very small calves..ankles and feet....It's to the point of being embarresing...I've thought about just injecting my calves and nothing else on the next cycle....try being a toothpick from the knees down...it sucks...

That is pretty much exactly what my stats are. I have small ankles, but my clalves are decent. I have massive quads though so nobody makes fun of me to my face :evil:

my quads are decent.....I just look like a phucktard in shorts...
 
I remeber hanging out with this guy that had won a huge title....but he used to shot stuff right into his calf to try to make it bigger
 
it really is a strange experience for any one who is not into building to see a show like that and just the type of people that are there

Bro, It's frustrating to put all the time and effort into building the perfect machine......and it look like 2 toothpicks hanging out of a phuckin' olive....
I seriously considered calf implants...untill I met a dude that had to get his leg amputated from calf implants...I figured 2 skinny weak ass looking calves beats one any day.
 
My calves blow, just ablove 16.5" and for the life of me can't get them any bigger. stronger than shit, BUT, just don't grow. As everyone else says.... genetics.

Every so often I punch dad in the arm for small calves. ;-)

mine are decent for not working them regularly. I mostly get a calf workout from work. I still got some work to do on my legs in general but they are way improved from a year ago when I actually started training them regularly. theyve got a lil bit bigger than my gallery contest pics.
 
I know plenty of women that have weak calves as well as men. Its a genetic thing & calves are very hard to build. THe training type is different too - different type of muscle. Take a look at bikers & sprinters vs just heavy lifters.
 
Sassy i think I just expected to see more definition all over and some of the legs were weak.....but it was very interesting just to see how everyone is shaped so differently
