-ok- what type of doc should I go to??

GYSER

New member
Well my medical card just came in and I need to find a doc....
I am very eager to start my cycle and it looks like it will be sooner then expected. I need to get all levels checked before going into, it,,,like liver,BP, and thyroid, and everything else I need before I start.

my last doctor did not know anything about aas. and I need a doc that understands about all aspects of the body....
what type of doc do you go to?

Sure! Use your emplyoier provided health insurance benefits to get blood work done. Make sure you tell your Doctor that you're using AS! Health insurance companies love to pay for medical work related to your use of AS!

Are you raelly serious about using your employer provided health insurance benefits for blood work etc... while you use AS??? I hope this a joke...

I dont think its stupid if your smart about it. Tell your doctor that you feel tired all the time and always need sleep no matter how much you get. He will give you a blood test. Most likely he will have liver, kidney and thyroid tested. He will be looking to see if your anemic. Just ask for a copy of the results. This worked for me .

hey dush-bag chakarov....
I work very hard for my coverage and it's something that comes out of my paycheck!!!

and yes I will use my coverage to get blood work, done, and to get an overall physical...

that is what it it there for...for me to go to any doctor I wish and get what ever test done I wish, to make sure I am 100 % healthy....if you do not like that I am sorry.......as for telling my doc...umm your smart bro...I think I am a bit smart my self, I know insurance companies don't pay and won't pay if they knew but ....my girl is a broker....in any case, that was not the post....if you have any real input to the qestion that I posted please reply...if not, go play with your self.

now back to my question, and the reason for this post...!!!!!!!
what type of doc should I go to?

I use to go to a family Practitioner... but he was no good...he was my doc for like 6 years.....but he really did not know much about health and fitness, or body building...he once gave me a diet plan of 1200 cal...and what I went in for was something totaly difrent....

so what type of specialist should I go to?

true, but that is why I would like a "SPECIALIST" you know some one who knows all aspects of BB....
ok- bros....

please no more, dush bags....

what is the best doc, that knows everything about the body, and all the ailments concerning, training?

Gastroenterology
Diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the digestive system including the stomach, intestines, colon, liver, gallbladder and the pancreas.

Sports Medicine
The field of medicine concerned with physical fitness and the diagnosis and treatment of injuries sustained in sports activities.

Endocrinology & Metabolism
The diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the internal (glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands. Also includes diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, pituitary diseases, and menstrual and sexual problems

Gastroenterology Sports Medicine Endocrinology & Metabolism

now bro's lets have some type of smart replys.....I know I can go to any doc....but I think I want to start going to doctors who specialize in certain feilds..... if you have no clue, or want to make a dumb reply...please keep it to your self..for all who know what boat I am in, and can give real input please do so.

Endocinologist is the specialist in all hormonal aspects of the body and can certainly help you if you have low natural test, or other hormonal problems. Otherwise an Internist would be norm for basic medical examines. BTW, virtually NO doctor's really understands use AAS as we practice it in BB. The medical establishment has been brainwashed them extensively that steriods will kill you, permanently damage you, etc... You will most likely not find a single doc that will recommend or condone steriod use in an otherwise healthy individual. Sorry to bust your bubble. Also, I think it is a major mistake to tell a doc you are using unless you absolutely have to (like if you are critically injured, etc.) You don't want "STEROID ABUSER" put in your permanent medical records. You will find it very difficult to get health insurance in the future and your current carrier will likely drop you. Also, despite what the lay person thinkgs, many people can access your medical records and for a variety of reasons... all the more reason why you shouldn't say shit.

Get the blood tests, hormone tests, etc. as a part of a yearly physical and move on. You will get little to no support from the medical community if you chose to use AAS.

BTW, this is all coming from someone who by all rights would probably be considered a steriod abuser...

Where do you live? I would say go see a physiatrist, also known as physical medicine and rehab doctor, but not a flaky one.

It's people like you GYSER that fuck up the Health Insurance industry and drive up everyone else's cost because you're too cheap (or poor) to pay for your own goddamned blood work.

You will use ILLEGALLY AS and then have the balls to use your Health Insurance to cover the blood work. And then you will OPENLY LIE to your doc and concoct a story about why you may need the bloow work for an alledged ailment! And I take it that you are implying that you are using your 'broker' girlfriend's insurance?

Idiots like you are driving up health care costs for the rest of us!!!

Grow a brain fuckface...

Holy shit you are stupid. What about all the lazy fucks who dont Excersize and Clog up the hospitals and doctors offices, not to mention people who smoke, abuse alcohol, or Just stupid people like yourself? if your going to get mad at someone, get mad at all the fatasses with diabetes or heart disease from eating mcdonalds and smokking every day of their life.

This thread is getting a little out of control. PM drjmw. He can order blood tests and read them for you. Your ins might not cvr as mine didn't but the prices are reasonable. I was able to get my blood checked for my yearly physical. I took the results to an endocrinologist b/c my test levels were low. In my opinion, you don't need to go that in depth. If you can get your primary care doc to oreder blood work then just use that. There are plenty of bro's here who can help interpret the results and help guide you on your path to swoleness. I think the point charkov was tryin to make was that yoiu shouldn't let the doc know your secret ambitions as it can hurt you in the long run. hope this helps.
