I'm pissed about buying a house for 125 when it shouldn't go a penny over 90. and since I'm buying outright it pisses me worse. The government does not control where we live, the land appraisers do! The movie 'Exit Wounds' is helping me coat, but the change and move is about to occur!

anyone want to see a pic of my 2 places I'm deciding beteween?

post your vote on my first cash house (22 yr old) in northern Wi. in the following thread.

please give me some honest ifo that I can use in my decision,

Thanks

Do either throw in banjos to match the mood of the house or do you have to provide your own?

I guess I should mention that this is to become a hermit pad in No. Wisconsin if that helps educate your vote.

$90-$120K?!?! :eek2: Damn, real easte must be insane in Wisconsin. I do motgages for one of the major banks in Canada, and those houses in a medium priced market would go for maybe $70-$80K. And our dollar is worth .65 of yours.

No diss, just surprised, that's all.

If it's your first house you'll want to consider if you'll be selling it again soon (like within 5 years). If you think you will, then go fot the one with the most potential value. Can you add a deck, or a hot tub? What about a paved driveway? How about an extra room? Can you furnish the basement?

If you're planning on staying, then get whichever you like most. I know you already have a favorite. New buyers always do. :)

THE AREA I'LL BE LIVING IS THE SECOND LARGEST TOUREST AREA OTHER THAN THE DELLS DURRING THE SUMMER TIME.
THEY AVARAGE BETWEEN .4 AND .8 ACRES SADLY

hOWEVER....

IN A COUPLE YEARS I WILL BE OUT IN THE COUNTRY...AND VERRY COMFORTABLE

BUT... WHAT WOULD LOOK THE BEST FOR NOW?

MY TWO YEARS SPENT IN THE POOLACE WILL BE USED TOWARDS MAKING AT FEEL LIKE A PLACE WHERE AAP COULD COME FOR HIS PRIVATE PHOTO SHOOTS. THAT!!! IS THE AMOUNT OF WORK I'M PLANNING ON PUTTING INTO IT

any place I'm in, I'll make as nice as can be before I have to sell, and I as quite handy

so I'm loooking for a hoome I won't be immbarrised about and make look much nicer.

this is the first house that I'll be outright buying. I love to landscape, so that's not a prob, and I am quite good with the insides as well! I'm just torn as I am meeting with ealators early next week

WTF dont people make money in real estate there?

90-120 k AINT shit.

that ll buy you a fucking BARN here with no ground

Those prices are amazing!!! You can't I repeat CAN'T buy anything decent for less than 200K on Long Island. And that is 1 1/2 hours away from Manhatten. The further you travel East or West it goes up an extra 100K. The homes in the Hamptons are over a million dollars. In Nassau county, about 30 minutes from the city you can get a shack with maybe 1/4 acre for $400K.

My husband and I got lucky. We bought at the right time. We found an acre and a quarter plot of land in a decent neighborhood. The land was $80K. The house was $112,500. It has since gone up in value and it's not even 2 years old yet.

Oh, and I like the second house better. Is that all brick?

Hey looks like your gonna be in hillbilly land, welcome neighbor. Go for the 1st one, the 2nd looks like someone took a bulldozer and shoved the garage from down the hill into a one room shack. My advice: unless these places have a large amount of land included you need to move to another part of the country because I wouldn't go over 50-60k on either one of them.
